Md. A. Razzaque Sarker is a Member at Invest Bangladesh, where he heads the Administration & Finance Division. A Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh and a member of the 18th BCS (Administration) batch, he brings more than 27 years of experience across field administration, ministerial assignments and institutional leadership.

He began his career as an Assistant Commissioner and went on to serve as Assistant Commissioner (Land), Nezarat Deputy Collector, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Additional Deputy Commissioner. He later held senior roles at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, the Ministry of Public Administration and the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre. Before joining Invest Bangladesh, he served as Director General of the Government Employee Hospital.

He holds an MA in Governance and Development from BRAC University, as well as master’s and honours degrees in English from the University of Rajshahi. He has completed professional training in project management, public-sector management, performance management and results-based management in Bangladesh and abroad.
